Suchness in Colour explores colour as direct experience — not as representation or symbol, but as presence itself. Drawing inspiration from the Zen concept of “suchness” (tathatā) — perceiving things exactly as they are, without interpretation — this series invites stillness and attention through the sensory immediacy of colour.

Through layered pigments and subtle textural shifts, each painting becomes a meditation on seeing and being. The work asks the viewer to slow down and encounter colour without narrative — to feel its quiet vitality, its radiance, its inherent truth. In doing so, it reflects both a celebration of perception and an inquiry into the nature of awareness.
